About to be a half game ahead of the Rays. Stupid Eo.
No Rice, again. With him, they’d have a shot at EO.
What’s the o/e on runs against EO? 0.5?
That was smooth
Scranton: Lombard 0-3, 3 walks, phenom 0-6, Spence 1-5
Lagrange 4.1ip 5r 5h 8K 3 bb. YIKES!
He’s a work in progress.
look at his career numbers. He always takes a while to adjust to a new level. We’ll have to keep that in mind when he comes up
Every game this guy fucking barrels the shit out of a pitch right at a guy.
And then some dummy writes about how his batting average is too low.
22 batted balls over 100 for outs for Grisham? XBA 240. XOPS 850.
Maybe today would have been a good day to give Judge a day off.
Warren too.
ERC>>WW
Great job, Warren.
If he had to get a bad game out of his system, this was the day to do it. It’s not like the Yankees are going to score against Eovaldi.
Yeah, this obviously sucked, but it wasn’t going to be a win if Warren had given up, like, TWO runs, ya know?
Just have to hope that the Rays won’t keep up their demonic play.
Weathers will not go tomorrow, he’s been sick. They used Yerry for 3 today and Yarbrough.
Under the Weathers?
Hope his baby doesn’t catch that bug…
Like, the common bugs that would cause Weathers’s symptoms can severely dehydrate and hospitalize even an older infant. But especially since his kid was just born two weeks ago. Any less-than-30-day-old with a fever needs admission for IV antibiotics while ruling out late-onset sepsis, and as part of their workup also needs a lumbar puncture to evaluate for meningitis. So hopefully he’s quarantined and his kiddo is doing well.
And hope he’s feeling better too. Internet says he lost 9 pounds in two days, which is almost as much weight as his baby… On second thought, hope his wife is feeling better too.
Kaeden Kent, son of HoF Jeff Kent, is having a fine season in High-A (346/.421/.523 in 121 PA), and maybe he will soon get the call to AA.
Yeah I w as gonna bring him up. Lombard, phenom, Kent and Dax. Spence is the only outfield ‘prospect.’
Yerry back down.
Need someone to back Blackburn tomorrow. Cruz seems like he’d be an odd choice for that role, so I’m very curious as to who it will be.
Blackburn for 3 then by committee. Someone will be up tomorrow.
There’s also former top prospect Marco Luciano who was terrible in two season for the Giants but was a top 50 prospect as late as pre 2024. He’s hitting 330/1133 at AA and is only 24.
But what’s Luciano’s batted ball profile, xBA and xOPS?
Is he just Lucky?
Dunno but his Slg is much higher than it was even in the PCL and his GO/AO is half what it was in the minors. Someone else can interpret that.
Sorry for wasting your time Bop, it was less a serious question and more of a joke (invoking an early 20th century mobster).
But interesting to think about what the ground out / air out ratio could tell us…
Brendan Beck up. I thought they’d go with a reliever.
House money lineup 1230 game.

Wow what a catch by The Martian. But hes hurt, maybe bad.
He got to his feet but is being driven off the field. Rosario to right, McMahon in, Cody to left.
