Rays won, so who cares?
Lombardy attacks!
And Mr. Jones!
Three HRs in the inning now as Spencer hits one.
Lombard is 6’2” 190 pounds. Why can’t he be a bit of a power hitter?
The ump almost got Malarchuked.
Jerry Coleman?
I was watching that downstairs. Headrick was just terrified of the strike zone.
After a season with more scoreless innings than any other pitcher.
WTF?
Btw – the announcers have been more than bending over backwards all season to say how the system proves how absolutely fantastic the umps are.
The average overturn rate for calls that get challenged (and that’s all that matters, you’d HOPE they’d get calls down the middle or over their head right) is over fifty percent. They get more of them wrong than right!
What else do you need to know?
Great job by Warren and Headrick.
How did he let Arenado hit it out to the same placed he just almost hit it out?
We lose this game, we lose this game. But Yankees need Headrick and Blackburn to be lights out. Last 7 games Headrick 4.75/ era, WHIP 1.41 won’t get it done.
This is like watching the Jets.
Harsh!
Lock down pen Fulmer, Headrick, and Schreiber. Bednar the other day. Timmy hasn’t been good for a while. Yankees in trouble.
Bednar twice in one game.
Bullpen rounding into shape for a WC loss.
We match up great against Whitlock and Chapman.
1.7% to win division.
Schmidt with some cramping in his right bicep. Nothing to worry about.
Wasn’t really counting on him anyway.
Four runs in the third, all on HR, nothing more after.
This team is so odd.
So potentially good, and so often just… somehow inert..
Headrick 77 ip this season, last year 45 between the minors and majors.
Boone’s projected 2026 postseason lineup for the Gotta Get ’em Going Yankees:
CF Grisham
RF Judge
LF Stanton
1B Goldschmidt
SS Volpe
2B Chisholm
DH Rosario
3B McMahon
C Wells
No Bellinger, no Jones, no Lombard, no Rice, no Garcia. They’re already going. Sort of.
We could very easily see a 20% Judge and a 60% Grisham in the lineup.
Cam, learn to field your position.
Yankees stink!
They really know how to yank[ees] the rug out with those last two losses. Self-induced by Cam, and another bad Warren performance after getting a 4-1 lead.
As the Blue Jays near elimination, Cease uncertain for remainder of ’26 after MRI reveals shoulder inflammation.

Two games Tuesday. Wow. Elimination from winning the AL East looms.
I’d like to thank the MLB for giving us fans no penant race or WC race in the NL. In the AL we have 4 mediocre teams battling for 3 spots and due to the stupid seeding system one will make it to the ALCS.
MLB is run by stupid people.
Why bother to assemble a competitive team when you can coast on the apathy of your division rivals?
Salary floor would be a great idea. Salary cap, not so much.
But unfortunately, the owners run MLB according to the golden rule.
No Jidge for the Boston series.
What a dumb, stupid season.
Judge with a PPP injection. A platelet-poor plasma (PPP) injection is a regenerative medical treatment derived from a patient’s own blood that isolates a plasma fraction low in platelets but rich in specific growth factors to treat acute muscle injuries.
Grisham running today. Schmidt will play catch later.
