    1. Can’t put away a guy, and then gives up a hit on his 8th fucking pitch of the at-bat. So pathetic. At least their cleanup hitter isn’t that go…oh…

    1. I saw various reports that he was good enough to be a future utility guy to being a below average defender. But he’s been fantastic in the majors.

    2. Iirc the question was always about his arm being strong enough and he was being compared to peraza who is also elite defensively.

  1. That was a nice AB DJ. 49 ABs hitting 184/482. I don’t see any signs that he’s coming around. Good thing he’s signed thru 2026.

  2. Hahaha the Rice Age. Cute.

DJLM really, really should not be brought up YET. What the hell was wrong with them bringing him up THEN I can’t possibly imagine.

    1. They always do that. Didn’t both Stanton and Donaldson have very short rehabs last year.

    2. Did they at least hit in their rehabs before they came up, though? I can’t quite remember.

    1. stantons timing is off. what would normally be backwards k’s will soon be frontward ks

  3. If that’s what it takes to beat Baltimore, fine, dig up Willie and kill him again tomorrow.

I DON’T LIKE DISRESPECTING HALL OF FAMERS EITHER BUT IT WORKS.

  4. If judge is hurt I fear this team is going to fall apart. And I urge Yankee pitchers to cream some of the Os hitters tomorrow. Henderson for sure. And none of this “throwing inside”. I mean bean balls. I’m pretty angry.

    1. They fell apart when he got hurt last year. I think their run scoring took a real hit. This yera though they have Soto, so there is that.

    1. I thought Boone was away for his son’s graduation? EDIT Oh, he came back for the bottom of the sixth.
