The Braves are annoyingly hot right now. The Yankees will be in third place by midnight.
Ben Rice is so lost.
Tyler Mahle 5.13 era+ 77, Yankee ou runs 1.5. If he were facing Boston ou number of innings he’d last 1.2
Everyone on this team, except maybe Lombard, either is lost or sucks.
Fundamentally sound
Fried at 36 pitches in the 2nd inning.
Odds of first six hitters going down 123 any game 75%
The Bosox at 13 runs in a game, the Yankees can barely score 13 in a week.
another nicely turned double play by lombard
Last 15 games Grisham 120, Rice 118, Jazz 170, Spence 171, Mac 182, Wells 258 and Rowson still has a job.
Cashman asleep at the wheel? Or Cashman the saboteur?
Hey Paul you’re an announcer, Rowson is one of the top hitting coaches in baseball.
SEVENTY SEVEN ERA PLUS. TOMORROW IS CHRIS SALE.
Wells, Grisham, Rice, not so very nice.
RISP Fail x 3.
Does Grisham make that catch? I don’t think so.
Spend $100 to come to the game, get here 6:00, sit through a thunderstorm, game starts at 9. Then this. Love watching Wells and Grisham taking call third strikes.
what about the ones trent swings through?
Against St Lou 1-18 RISP, tonight 0-5.
Cruz up, last 6 games, 6ip, 4h, 4bb
Grisham is the pits.
phenom 1-5 with a hr, Jasson 2-4, Schumann 4-5.
I thought Spence got that one.
Austin Wells turning the corner.
aaron judge deserves to go to a winner
The Dodgers of the Red Sox? 😏
Jones hit the ball well a few times and has nothing to show for it.
Cruz third home run allowed last 7 innings. Not what you want.
if they were just perfect every time we’d only lose by one or two
Overcooked Rice is mush.
Clearly the way to shut down the Yankees is to walk men into scoring position.
Or to have the rain stop.
PGold 174 last 15 games, 056 last 7 games pinch hitting for Jazz 164/087. This team is blessed with an abundance of talent. In a weird way it makes Boone’s job harder but he’s not complaining.
Is Rowson still here?
Tim Hill 3 home runs in the last 8 innings, 5.3 era last 15 days, over 6 last 7. It’s tough to pitch when you never have any breathing room. We were lucky with Hill, he’s back to where he was.
Nice ABs Rosario, Wells and Rice. But a lucky hit to start the inning.
Rice! You can’t B. cereus.
you can’t be cereal
can’t predict baseball
Extra innings where the Yankees shine.
Not an easy throw
i like this garcia guy.
did they consider replacing all of the other guys at the deadline?
Ever notice how often the guy who makes a nice play starts off the 10th on 2nd base?
How can guys who rely on speed be so bad at bunting? Yankee fundamentals.
My, that was an atrocious at-bat. Caballero is supposed to be able to do the little things.
Mac with a good game.
Did the runner on 2nd also tag for no reason?
Decent reason to tag up from second base there, in case Acuña’s throw home is on line and in time to get Garcia. Then at least you’ve got a runner on third and can score on a wild pitch, while if you hadn’t tagged up you’d be stuck back at second.
Well, when I got out of the bath and saw on my phone that they won, I said, how about that. Hitting and a nice catch on that pop fly by Garcia.
