  1. Jake Bird doing his best to keep this game close. He’s now allowed 4/6 inherited base runners to score in this season and yet he’s been better that last year.
I think he has the nude pictures

  2. Congrats to tomorrow’s O’s starter, Trey Gibson, who will be making his first career MLB appearance and pitching his first career 27-strikeout perfect game.

  3. I can’t imagine what this Derby Tri is going to pay. An insane early pace set it up for the closers. To me about 5 0r 6 horses looked about the same, not the winner or show horse, so I didn’t bet. I did piss away a little in the Oaks.

  4. Fifty Cent trifecta paid $5625. If you had an extra half buck and 18 1 22 were your lucky numbers in that order. How does everyone who bets horses not get rich? The $1 Super paid $94,000.

  5. Gotta complain about something. Oswald Peraza walk off single against mutts, 3-5 tonight hitting 295/850. Career Yankee numbers 190/548.

    1. Amusingly, I was just thinking of him before that, as we hadn’t heard about him in a while. I think he had been slumping before that huge game against the Mets.

Pereira, for instance, is slumping big time.

EDITED TO ADD: It is less that he has been slumping and more that the Angels aren’t even playing him. Weird stuff.

  6. Meredith “ José Ortiz (won the Kentucky Derby) and Irad Ortiz jr (his brother came in second) are cousins with Elmer Rodriguez. Rodriguez said he was more nervous for the race than he was for his debut. Added he was so proud of them he started crying after seeing them come in 1&2”
