99.99999% chance Eo dominates them tonight. Why in the fuck is Trevi starting against a righty?
Yankees apparently unlocked Gore and Corbin. Gore is perfect in the sixth.
Do we have to?
Martian 2/3 with a home run, but Verdugo got us here and he’s better than Hixie.

Watching this doc about Phil Ivey using flaws in playing cards to win millions playing Baccarat. Cheating or not?
Yeah, he cheated.
Terrible news, the White Sox are winning big
Shocked, shocked Soto would die at second. Maybe they should move Verdugo back to cleanup. I think Verdugo feels disrespect being moved to the bottom of the order. Put him back at cleanup and he’ll shine again.
When your #4 hitter has a career .767 OPS, that ain’t good.
Stroman meltdown in 3… 2… 1…
Again, I would pull Stroman from the rotation over Nestor. Too many baserunners.
Thirty-one pitches. FFS.
In an ideal world it would be Cole, good Gil, good Rodon and Clarke.
Jasson’s HR.

I had the sound off, did they butcher what should’ve been that DP?
This reminds me of the Boston series back when they had 50 wins and Rodon and Stroman both choked like complete losers. I said then, and I still believe, that you should never want Stroman to sniff a playoff start.
lol Stanton. WTF were you thinking there.
I don’t know if this is the max but 31-38 since 6/12/24 it’s all behind us.
Stroman is going hit 60 pitches to get through 2.
I’m honestly a BIT surprised that Stroman is THIS bad.
That inning included a bunt and a pop up.
Why do all the broadcasters, even Cone, make excuses for Vertogo?
And the bases are left loaded. They should sew that into the uniforms.
I’m shocked that I can’t find something better to do tonight.
Rizzo is better than DJ, but he’s not an answer.
That was an impressive inning. Time for some Homicide Life On The Streets.
Man they smoke a lot on that show.
Stroman is a team player. He knew Effross needed the work.
Imploding Bombers. Season of Gloom style.
win big game 1
lose a nail biter in game 2
coin flip game 3
every time
Cubs with a combined no-no.
So they could have 2 this week.
Ah, more of that Blake’s Magic© by the staff.
Letter was a fine pickup. As was De La Sosa. And Mayza. Not to forget Caleb, Santana and Victor Gonzales.
He signed Verdugo and Stroman and extended DJ.
31-39 since mid June, worst team in the AL East. Bottom three or four in the majors. Still six up for the WC with the Cubs, Boston and Baltimore looming.
Boone: It’s all right in front of us.
When Verdugo gets a hit an angel lose his wings.
Grisham > Verdugo
But why isn’t the Martian up already?
Grisham at least can hit for power.
Rat Dog stat padders. And that’s how you lead the league in runs. Score when it doesn’t count.
Crazy that Stanton actually gave that one a ride.
I don’t want to hear Boone crow about the meaningless runs in the 9th.
Pretty much every starter, including some lemons, has shut us down.
Season of Gloom.
Boone “we gotta be better than this if we wanna go where we wanna go. Excusing Verdugo for not always running hard. “”He’s beat up.” “A good amount of our pitcher are throwing the ball well. Obviously we need to be able to close game when you’ve got the lead.” Bullpen 12.27 era last 4 games.
If he’s beat up why is he playing? Stupid moron.
15-15 last 30 games playing all but two teams under 500.
Boone tries to cover for Verdugo who says he’s fine.

Yanks are now one of the 3 teams in the WC. The next team is 10 games out. So yeah, we will make the playoffs. But as noted above we will have the worst post June record of all of them. So winning any post season series should be a surprise.
Boone and Cashman and Hal and Levine have reached their expiration date. I feel for Cole and Judge, this is probably their last ride. Soto is young enough he’ll win another World Series in his career with the Mets.
Could drop to the third Wild Card spot. If you have the best run differential and you’re struggling is that a sign that the manger is mismanaging his assets? Or does it say the team hits it best when the game is out of hand?
Jon Berti with a 4/4 last night but he’s a 34 year old journeyman middle infielder with a lifetime 92 OPS+. More drek. Ian Hamilton was good last night, Trivino was bad. I’d think Hamilton should be up real soon. Yankee relievers rank 22nd in era since the ASB.
