The Braves have a LOT of guys who are slumping in their lineup, and yet, now that Profar is off of his suspension, and Acuna is back from his injury, offense is really not their problem. Pitching is their problem. And, well, they had their one really good pitcher pitch last night, but they have a shitty guy going tonight, so the Yankees really should be able to beat this guy, but the problem is that Will Warren could also easily get his ass kicked….so, well, it is not looking good for the Yankees tonight.
Go Cubbies?
The Jays have already won today.
Will Wentz have a career game or Warren have one of his meltdowns?
Spencer 4-5 with a double and a home run, 397/1293. Unconscious.
Well past 400 feet

433-feet at 107.4 mph off the bat.

Good pitchers and southpaws always get them down.
Joey Wentz 6.32 era, 1.703 WHIP. In other words an Ace.
We’ll get to Wentz the third time thru after Boone and Rowson come up with a plan.
So for his last 28 games phenom is hitting even worse than Peraza for the season.
Lies, damn lies, and Sabremetrics. Joey Wentz is every bit as good as any left hander in the game.
This is so embarrassing. So, so very embarrassing.
Nothing but weak contact. One hard hit ground ball all game.
Ozzie fucking Albies. just pure insanity. He’s having a TERRIBLE season, and yet he had a three-run home run on both games.
But really, as bad as that was, the real bad thing was this piece of shit offense being unable to hit a terrible emergency starter.
Warren is the phenom of pitchers. If Michael Pineda were worse, he would be Will Warren. Albies was struggling then the Yankees came to town. Wentz couldn’t get anyone out, then the Yankees came to town. Right now the Yankees are the 3rd, 4th or 5th worse team in baseball.
Why not pull him in the middle of an at bat though? He was clearly gassed during the at bat, and had nothing left in the tank when it was his turn to play in the field.
I guess he needed a manager with some courage.
What can one say? I want a refund?
Volpe runs into one. Wow.
The Blue jays have 28 come back wins.

Yankees have one right. You gotta have heart.
A starting pitcher who should be pitching for Colorado, hitters that disappear regularly, and an awful pen. This is the team that Cashman built.
Nice to see the bullpen hold it at a 5-2 deficit. Wait …
Yep, couldn’t get that one big hit as they close to within 7-6. Bases loaded, no outs , sac fly and a ground out for 2-runs, but no one could get a hit there.
Of course, with this bullpen, it probably doesn’t matter.
Lo, what the FUCK?! These fucking LOSERS.
Oh, that bullpen!
Can you even IMAGINE walking a dude there? What a fucking loser.
Every reliever gave up a run.
This fucking game.
Listen, am I outraged? Yes, but hey, at least the offense showed up.
The idea that Boone let it get to this is just fucking insane. How can you be THIS bad at your job?
Lo actually has a worse era than Warren, 5.1 SO FAR compared to 4.9. Hes totally done.
“He’s falling apart after sucking last inning, let’s just stick with it.”
This fucking ASShole.
Gee whilikers
The loss is gonna hurt worse now. That was an advance CT.
And Volpe runs into another.
Does anyone make more hard outs than Austin Wells?
Even bad fielders make good plays on us.
Good to have Vivas up here.
Turned the wrong way.
Good not chasing Gianni.
Horrible luck
TPTG!
Catch that one??
it really was a great at bat by stanton
that grisham home run was also something.
Yep there were days Stanton would’ve struck out.
Trent Fuckin’ Grisham.
This wasn’t a walk off.
And he walks the leadoff batter.
Meanwhile Devin with a leadoff walk and the excuse that he hasn’t pitched in a week.
And a one out double now.
Generous strike one.
Yay, win.
Never in doubt
erm
This is great because Grisham and Volpe both upped their trade value
That was hilarious, because it was both logical (Atlanta has terrible pitching) and shocking (the Yankees being filled with losers).
I take nothing from Williams struggle. Week off and a four run lead, I’d expect struggles from most closers.
Spencer adds a walk to up his OPS to 1300, 4-5 with a home run, a double, a walk, and no strikeouts.
Was looking at Yankee top prospects for 2016. Jorge Mateo was a near universal choice as their top prospect. Sanchez and Judge were either 23 or 32 with Fangraphs having Acevedo at 2 and Judge at 4. In 2015 Judge hit 255/770 between AA and AAA, in 2016, age 24th hit 270/854 in AAA.
