    1. you don’t trust all time yankees consecutive scoreless innings record holder will warren?

    2. damn no one called me out about getting warren and schmidt mixed up, we are all getting old and will die without another parade.

  1. Even better now, bases loaded and no outs. Now, if this were the Yankees batting, the pitcher would have them right where he wanted them.

  2. This is like 2023 Rodon all over again. Hitters are obviously sitting on certain pitches from him EVERY GAME, and then he adjusts. So just adjust BEFORE that point, you fucking idiot!

They’re all swinging aggressively early in the count, so throw OTHER PITCHES.

  3. I was going to predict this game would be over by the second. I was too optimistic. Warren has an occasional good inning but I’ve never liked him A 10 era last year. A 6 era last year in the minors. And in the minors he had a few games like this. He’s 26, he’s not a kid, I just don’t think he’s ever done enough tomsay he has tremendous potential.
Meanwhile Schittler is starting at Scranton tonight.

  4. Deja Vu. The New York Yankees lost first place and were swept in a doubleheader by the Toronto Blue Jays on September 12, 2015. The Blue Jays won both games of the doubleheader, taking the first game 9-5 in 11 innings and the second game 10-7, according to MLB.com.

  5. I had to step out for an hour, what did I miss? Oh. I see.
Good grief. Either cashman does something big or this season is going down in flames. Or is it up in flames? Whatever. They’re going nowhere with this team and this manager. Time to tune out until the owner and GM half as much as the fans.

  6. Schlittler got bombed tonight also at Scranton, 2.1ip 7r 7h. Guess Warren is safe.

Spence off to a hot start in AAA, 2/3 with a home run hitting 375/1412.

  7. I don’t even know what the plan was. Williams for the 8th and then, what, Lo for the 9th? That’s a pretty stupid plan. You’re on the road and it’s a tie game, you’re always going to need to have someone close out the game, so why use Williams there?

  8. I don’t think we’re going to get a lot of clean innings when Leiter, Hill and Hamilton are involved. I don’t think we’re going to get too many starts that go through 7. So they have to hit.

Strangely Devin’s era is actually higher than Warren’s, 5.17 to 5.02.

  9. Boone was pleased with the effort and hopes it will springboard us a little bit. Williams not much off, a couple of things not going are way. Didn’t want to walk Berger, didn’t want to get in the intentional walk game (huh?)

    Now 10-15 vs AL East.
