Interesting lineup placement with Rice being Judge’s protection somehow? I doubt they won’t suck, but it would be nice if they didn’t suck today.
Game is on The ROKU channel
MLBTR The Yankees placed left-hander Ryan Yarbrough on the 15-day injured list this morning due to a right oblique strain. Left-hander Jayvien Sandridge was recalled from Triple-A in a corresponding move. Sandridge would be making his MLB debut if he were to get into a game with the Yankees. Brendan Kuty of The Athletic reports that New York will recall right-hander Allan Winans to start tomorrow’s game
11:30 games are dumb. Roku is dumb. Warren apparently not getting any coffee in him before getting on the bump is dumb.
Better hope they can put up another 9 today.
I was going to write that Warren is either great or awful, but his last game was mediocre, so i didn’t say it.
I guess I should have.
Warren’s very lucky it’s only two.
What’s the rationale behind an 11:30 start?
To stand out from the crowd.
And yes, that’s a bad reason.
It’s just marketing bullshit. Roku is trying to carve a niche with the “MLB Sunday Leadoff.”
Has Stanton hit a fly ball yet this year.
Rollerball!
James Caan coulda put together a better AB than Wells just did.
What about Raquel Welch? She fought Elaine Benes.
Their starters are all such headcases. Warren sucks! No, now he’s great! Nope, he sucks again! Wait, he’s great again!
How about the hitters?
Gleyber OPS+ 130
I don’t think Gleyber takes the Detroit offer from the Yankees, and the Detroit offer was already more than the Yankees could spend.
No shame in losing 5/7 to the Halos and O’s at home.
Absolutely allergic to hits with runners in scoring position.
Belli couldn’t even hit it hard enough to get a run in.
Yankees 2nd and 3rd no out, announcer “Yankees are in business now.” Has he not watched any Yankee games recently?
Stanton now under 700 and has yet to put a ball in the outfield since coming back.
Last 15 days before this afternoon 20th in runs scored, 21st in OPS. And that’s after scoring 9 yesterday.
I think the poison water in the clubhouse that ruined Sanchez, Gleyber, etc has finally gotten to judge.
Gleyber had chelation therapy so he’s ok. Sanchez didn’t.
That was painful, Judge.
That was like middle middle. Yankees 1/7 RISP.
