I really can’t believe Judge dropped, like, 18 points in batting average in that fucking Boston series.
Okay, Stanton is back, let us see him go into one of THOSE Stanton slumps. You know the ones I’m talking about.
It would be nice for them to not suck in THIS series.
Neto hits like Ty Cobb against the Yankees.
Trump’s former lawyer plays baseball?
Nice battlin’ by Schmidt.
Aaron Boone intelligent baseball.
It’s so weird how Judge conceded that he chased too much in Boston (and it was borne out in his high chase rate), so, like, why not just NOT do that, dude?
The double play, for instance, was on a ball he chased out of the zone.
Belli advancing the runners for Stanton.
Stanton hit it hard, at least.
Yup, good swing.
Now THAT’s a classic LeMahieu groundball.
Ok bet time. How many hits will Stanton get in his first 20 at bats? I’m putting the number at 2.5 and taking the under. Anyone?
When a ground ball machine pitches to Le Machine you get a ground ball. Is the DJ renaissance over?
It’s hard to say when they’re ALL sucking at the same time, ya know? How can you even pick one guy when they all suck equally?
Hard to believe that Judge drive didn’t go for at least a double. It just hung up in the air, but not enough distance for a homer.
When they’re all slumping, the lack of batting average is annoying, so, of course, Boone sits Goldy for two games.
Didn’t expect a GIDP from Jazz. They’re surprising me even with how much they suck!
Ugh, Wells hit that hard, but it hit the mound, so it slowed it down. Some bad, bad luck.
In all seriousness, why have Grisham/Rice just taken a stronghold on the top two spots in the lineup? Rice has been shitting it up for a number of games now, and just…no change.
PGold needs to be an every day player who only sits because he needs the rest.
He better be secretly hurt, because otherwise, what the fuck is going on?!
Just got under it
Can’t begrudge Belli in that inning, but ooph, Judge and Stanton were embarrassing.
Now that was a Stantonian strike out.
It’s tough when you face 5 of the 6 or 7 best pitchers in the AL back to back.
They couldn’t even add to his pitch count against 3-4-5.
Volpe needs to learn to bunt for hits. He didn’t deaden the ball.
Also, if you’re going to bunt, let Jazz steal first!
I assume he was bunting for a hit.
I guess it didn’t matter, since Wells and DJ are automatic outs tonight.
When a ground ball machine pitches to Le Machine, what do you get?
DJ walked last time, so of course he was first pitch swinging this time.
Just such a stupid play by Judge. It’s a fucking single if he plays it on a hop.
Absolutely idiotic decision to dive for that. Should be scored as a single and two base error.
They’re not allowed to pinch hit for DJ, only for Rice.
I don’t think this is smart
How many innings is this with 5 runs? I lost count.
A win won’t erase the stink of these games.
Oh good, bring in Jasson to make some spectacularly boneheaded decisions on the basepaths.
Why didn’t they bunt jazz?!
Nice play by the 3b. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that.
That was a nice AB against a washed up Kayley, three nice ABs.
Why bunt, DJ can always hit a ground ball to the right.
The one time a groundball would have been GOOD…
Had DJ just gotten a fucking bunt down, the game would be over.
How many sacrifice bunts has he had? Hes a former batting champ. Just let him hit one to the right.
Yeah, fair point.
Three 5 era relievers keep it scoreless.
Okay, they’re just fucked by bad luck tonight. Holy shit.
I feel like I’m watching the Troy Haymakers take on the Fort Wayne Kekiongas.
I think we know how this ending.
I truly get the appeal, but they’ve got to stop using Lo for two innings.
Need walks and wild pitches
What the fuck is up with this fucking wind?!
I thought he got it
Insanity.
The fucking bad luck in this game is insane.
The Martian from the right side-death
I said two years ago or so when I saw his MiL splits that they needed to end the switch hitting.
I can’t believe the contact play didn’t work. It’s only failed 12,957 of the last 12,961 times, so they had a reasonable shot at it.
The problem there was that he DIDN’T go on contact. He probably scores if he does
Wow, they sure suck right now.
First pitch swinging. Of course. Why wouldn’t you, with the bases loaded.
He’s a total moron at the plate. Good defender, though.
Bad luck mixed with shitty hitting is a bad fucking recipe.
And it did end like that. Not with a bang, but with a whimper.
Rays win again.
Shut out by a pretty good starter and a few veery mediocre relievers. A sparkling 1-18 with RISP.
Volpe might be the stupidest hitter I ever saw.
He really doesn’t seem to have much brains behind the plate. Swings when he should let guys steal, bunts when he should let a guy steal first, just lots of stupid shit.
The first two games in KC the entire lineup was raking. Since then 5 runs in 5 games. It’s actually pretty hard to go 1-4 when you allow only 9 runs in 5 games, but they managed to find a way.
Katie S Yankees in Extra Innings This Season:

26 AB
2 H
0 XBH
1 R

8 K
Seems pretty chokish
Some pretty choky bullshit.
🙀
The automatic RISP is a hex on the Yankees’ extra-inning offense.
More Katie Yankees Last 5 Games:
5 Runs, .462 OPS
This is the 1st time since August 9-13, 1990 the Yankees scored 5 or fewer runs and had a .462 OPS or lower in any 5-game span.
Ahhh…1990, when we truly bottomed out. Good times.
