The only thing that will prevent Yesavage from, well, you know, savaging them is if it pours and the game is called, and then he can savage them tomorrow.
From what I have seen, the heaviest rain is around 7-8 PM.
Oh, then perfect then!

First pitch around 9:10.

Spencer on his way to out?
That’s a Big reverse split
Big reverse split. Why isn’t Rosario playing.
The Grisham bloop shouldn’t count as a hit.
Challenge PGold
Spence on deck. Grish hurt.
Yeah, not good.
This schlitler guy looks like a decent pitcher.
But the other guy looks better.
He made out but that was one of Spence’s better ABs
Wells is so weird. In two of his at-bats against Yesavage he has looked good for a lot of the at-bat, and then strikes out awfully in the end.
Judge slumps are so fucking brutal.
It felt like Yesavage could have thrown ANYthing to Judge in that at-bat, and he was going to swing at it.
Brutal luck on the Clement hit, and then he just pitched scared to Sanchez, which is silly of him.
FUCK, Wells! He should have had him!
This is the most annoying inning ever.
Yep.
How in the fuck do you fucking fight for the goddamn ball with each other?!
They meet at the mound to discuss how to defend a bunt then they fuck it up.
They sure aren’t beating the charges on the whole “just put it in play, and the Yankees will fuck it up” deal.
Schlittler about to be on the hook for five runs this inning.
That was an INSANELY good at-bat by Gimenez. He fouled off every fucking strike, and somehow didn’t swing at the one pitch that was BARELY a ball.
What is a fucking swing if that’s not a swing!?
Should be struck out.
He got the K anyways, phew.
Can’t complain too much about 2 runs in six innings.
Bird has bizarrely been their best reliever the last week or so.
I think they were all legit shocked that Gimenez didn’t catch that. He seems to catch EVERY thing.
Delay of game.
Sanchez hurt himself.
Rosario has had some BAD at-bats lately.
Ugh, great catch.
Fucking pathetic.
How low was that pitch?
Brutal.
Wow, Cruz!!
Nice challenge phenom
I can’t get over just HOW much Wells sucks.
It is scary.
At least Wells didn’t prolong that AB. A quick out for the fans who stuck around.
Judge is a mess at the plate right now.
That was foolish Cody
Lucky Jazz
UGHHHHHH!!!!!!!
ROUGH.
I actually like how well they did against Varland in general, though.
Judge seems to have caught Spencer Jones’s Disease.
Rodon for the series split tomorrow.
Four down to the Rays (5 in the all important loss column) but fear not still up 4 in the Pythag.
Too many poor hitters. Might as well ley Spencer Jones play full-time.
My only real objection is that, if he’s going to improve, he should be with their best coaches – who are clearly to be found ANYWHERE but at the major league level.
Judge’s first season he struck out 50% of the time.
I’m not sure it follows from that that striking out 50% of the time means your on a track for Judge’s subsequent performance.
But either way, I’d rather he be helped by more competent coaching! (And you’ll recall that Judge, while being on the major league roster, went outside the organization to find competent coaching.)
Carlos Rodon for the series split
