Fare thee well, Tyler Matzek, you don’t look like you are quite ready to contribute. Welcome back, Lo!
This is a big game, so I assume Rodon will suck. It would be nice if he didn’t suck (he will suck).
I haven’t been watching – my interest has waned with time – but what Judge has been doing is so completely insane he may drag me back in. I apologize in advance for causing a slump 😉
His babip is nutty and can’t be sustainable, but even if it comes back to Earth he’s on another planet. I don’t love the Yankee offense being so dependant on one player, but if you’re gonna have that, let that player be him. Goodness gracious.
Ha, Rodon wanted no part of a first inning Soto highlight.
Oh the drama.
Megill wanted no part of Grisham
Peraza wanted no part of hitting.
It’s a shame he can’t hit.
Here comes a slider
Yankee power. Bronx Bombers.
Coney and Paulie, what a pleasure.
Soto has a good arm. Not there.
You could almost use Rice here.
Mickey Klutts approves of the third inning
Rodon gonna give it all back in a hurry
What was that pitch Carlos? Or that one? Two pitches that weren’t even close to load the bases.
Rodón wanted to get the hitter he wanted. It’s dumb, but i kind of get it.
You got a 5 run lead, make Soto beat you.
Yay, Lo!
Nandon Brimmo
Jose “Benazir” Butto
Only if he gets knocked out by a comebacker after a rally.
Walking a guy with a 5-run lead, smh. And he had him 0-2 in the count.
Didn’t they say Yerry throws strikes?
Now this is where you absolutely pitch to Soto.
How many runs should you be up to justify bringing in the last guy in the pen with yesterday and Monday off?
I think it was fine. He just sucked.
This is fucking absurd.
Should walk Soto and bring in Devin for Alonso.
Devin already pitched, 3K’s.
I see what you did there.
So typical of those back of the bullpen guys, just tired of it. Walking a guy after going 0-2 on him, then another walk.
It’s bad, but that’s what these guys do. They hopefully will learn. I imagine he’ll be the next guy sent down when Guy X returns.
Judge goes 2-for-4 with a walk, and his OPS goes down. But at least he’s a day closer to a .400 season.
