It’s great to see Gleyber not even miss a single game. It’s funny how Berti would have been the everyday third baseman had he just shown up on time for Game 1, but because he didn’t, Waldo got the nod, and doesn’t look like he’s ready to give it back any time soon.

In all seriousness, I don’t think he’s leaving. There is no way he’d ever sign an extension, so the fact that he hasn’t signed yet doesn’t mean anything to me. I think they’ll ante up for him. 10/$500 million or something like that. They’re paying him, like, $33 million this year, ya know? It’s not like he’s not already getting paid a lot.

Ian Hamilton is a fucking STUD. I’m still pissed they had him pitch hurt a few times last year, and he had some bad games that lowered his numbers (and then he had an outright bad game against Toronto late in the year).
Stroman pitched a gutsy game. I wasn’t initially pleased with the signing because I would have preferred Yamamoto or Snell and thought that he was kind of a dick, but he’s really growing on me.
3-0 and those three wins on the road at Houston … that’s pretty good.
