  1. Hoch Clarke Schmidt told reporters he is dealing with left flank soreness; he told the Yankees he could start today, but they have decided to push him back to Tuesday.

In a not too distant past “ Yankees’ Jazz Chisholm Jr. unconcerned with ‘right flank’ injury, talks human and bovine anatomy”

    1. Apparently after the rest of the bullpen got to take last night’s game off, they figured it made sense to make today’s game a bullpen game. I like the sound of that. That sounds like this actually IS minor.

  2. Funny to see this on the scoreboard
    Bellinger 194
    Judge 434
    Rice 265

Like looking at the temperatures in in the South Pole, the Equator, and New York..

    1. for baseball destruction Rice
      Is also great
      And would suffice.

  3. I hate it when their manager makes a bad decision and gets away with it.

When Boone does his defensive switch in 1 run games Reyes is the pinch hitter

    1. My guess he didn’t want to do 4/5 days. Nevertheless use Cruz in 7/8.

    1. He’s very unlikely to ever make it but what matters is can he hit enough home runs and have a high enough OBP to be useful. Hes always going to strike out a lot. He leads the Eastern League in home runs with 50% more home runs than the next best and he’s 6th in OPS.

  4. Hoping to win this series with the JV
    T Grisham (L) CF
    A Judge (R) DH
    C Bellinger (L) RF
    P Goldschmidt (R) 1B
    J Domínguez (S) LF
    J Escarra (L) C
    P Reyes (R) 2B
    O Cabrera (S) 3B
    O Peraza (R) SS

    1. Yep, he was bet heavier in the double pools. I had a win and an exacta but would’ve done better if Baeza got place. I made a win bet on Sovereignty and double keyed Sovereignty and Neoequos in exactas with Baeza and Journalism. This guy Cartouche who posts on my old job site picked the 123 in order.
