  1. I’d play the young guys this year all the time.
Especially Jasson, especially against lefties. I doubt anyone thinks because of one great game he’s suddenly found it against lefties permanently, but I’d put him in a position to “find it” – by playing him in those situations.

    1. I have been having problems iPad Chrome, not Safari or Android Chrome. All methods randomly need to re login.

  2. Okay, THERE is your Rodon meltdown.
It almost looked like he was going shock everyone and really be consistently good.
    Ah, well.

    1. Damn. Got distracted by Kate Hudson in Almost Famous.

I really have to keep complaining, it seems.

    1. OK thank you. I swear the broadcast didn’t mention it. Started to think I was crazy on replays. Just on replays.

  3. Cruz’s big knock coming into the season was that he gave up too many home runs. He had mostly avoided it to this point (just that one home run in Pittsburgh), so I can’t complain about him too much, but blech.

  4. It’s hilariously just HOW poorly Hamilton is pitching this inning.

The Cruz inning was whatever, two poorly played balls in the outfield, and then a homer by a decent hitter. This is just crazy.

    1. Grisham is just a guy, a nice piece, but he’s no GG, just the best they have in CF.

  5. You can’t turn mediocre guys into something good, they will almost always return to form. There is no magic formula which a pitching coach can work on them.

    1. Matzek is still recovering from his injury. I don’t mind them giving him a shot in low leverage innings to see if he’s ready to help the team. But to bring him in in that situation was just BONKERS in how dumb it was.

Just fucking let Hamilton finish the inning at that point (Hill should have just pitched the inning, really).

  6. The Rockies are losing 16-0 in the 5th inning, on their way to being 6-33. They are waiting to turn it on when the Yankees come to town.
