Heyman says that the plan is to get a righthanded outfielder, and keep Dominguez in the minors for the season, but, of course, if an injury happens, he’d be called up and become a starter.
I think it makes a lot of sense. A guy like Randal Grichuk likely has more of a place on this roster than Dominguez.

When Volpe is back, then you just send Waldo to the minors.
