I think that the Athletics are better than their record indicates. Their good hitter didn’t hit to start the season, and now they’re starting to hit. They’re more dangerous than they look. That bullpen is still terrible, though, and the Yankees should be embarrassed for being stopped by two of their shittier relievers (They used their one good reliever, Justin Sterner, for two innings in Game 1. Elvis Alvarado and Joel Kuhnel are NOT good).
With their best pitcher going today, I don’t think a loss here would be embarrassing. But it would still be very bad, and should be avoided.
And yes, Waldo and JC doing a TV commercial is truly insane.
