  1. It’s hilarious just how much better the Yankee pitchers look when they just throw fucking strikes.

A lot of pitchers get beat up if they throw strikes, but Yankee pitchers generally do quite well in the zone. They just need to, you know, THROW STRIKES.

  2. Okay, you can go back to the minors when Rodon is healthy, Luis.

I’d truly rather see Paul Blackburn come in in relief at this point than Luis Gil, so sending him to the bullpen won’t even help.

He can work on some shit in the minors. Prove he belongs back in the Majors.

    1. Slater would have made more sense, but he thought he could play more than the playtime that they were offering, so he turned them down. Weird idea by him.

Beyond that, Grichuk didn’t have much of a Spring Training, so I’ll give him a bit more time before I write him off (but yes, I am getting ready to write him off).

    2. Oh, wow, this whole year? That’s a lot! That must be a lot more than just six at-bats. Oh, wait, nope, it’s just been six at-bats. So, well, you know, come on.

  3. I understand that it is tough for Boone to tell two grown men that they are too stupid to be allowed to challenge pitches, but, well, it’s on him to do that.

So now they’re out of challenges because of the two overly emotional dudes.

  4. Hoch The Yankees’ team batting average is .201 – only Seattle & the White Sox are lower. Their team OPS of .648 ranks 23rd in MLB.

    It can get worse.

    1. Katie S This is the 3rd time in franchise history that the Yankees had a .201 batting average or worse thru 13 games.

The other seasons were 1968 and 1912.
      Yankees Last 3 Games:
      8 singles, 1 triple, 1 HR, 35 K

This is the first time in franchise history the Yankees had any 3-game span with 15 or fewer total bases and at least 35 strikeouts.
