  1. Fourth inning, tie score, men on 2nd and third, 1 out-Boone had to use DJ to hit for Peraza. Yes even that early in the game. BTW Peraza has gotten even worse.

  2. Mutts not throwing aces this weekend which means little to the Yankee hitters. We get em on. We leave em on.

    NYY Lineup

    J Domínguez (S) LF
    A Judge (R) RF
    C Bellinger (L) CF
    G Stanton (R) DH
    J Chisholm Jr. (L) 3B
    P Goldschmidt (R) 1B
    J Escarra (L) C
    A Volpe (R) SS
    D LeMahieu (R) 2B

  3. Can’t wait for the ABS challenge system.
They should add a rule where if an umpire loses three challenges in a game, he’s ejected.

  4. phenom now under 700. Every year he has good stretches, last year very good, but then he ultimately disappoints. Is he the most overrated Yankee of the 2000s.

  5. And he’s strange, so strange (so strange)
    He’s very strange to me

    1. Just saw your question from yesterday:

The mood is downright apocalyptic. Pros across poker, sports, horses, whatever are screaming their heads off.

Slim chance of a reprieve though a “technical corrections” process but one industry watcher ballparks it as a +300 shot.

Very real chance this ends up costing me my job because one dickhead senator snuck this shit in last minute, so that’s fun.

    2. There’s only 1 of NV’s 4 reps. 3 D’s and 2 D senators, who already voted against the BBB.

Hopefully the one R will co-sponsor a bill Dina Titus is going to push that would return the deduction to 100%. Best we can hope for is a bill or technical correction gets through before FY 2026. But it’s far from a done deal.

  6. AI The New York Yankees bullpen ERA for the last 7 days is 8.47. This places them at 29th in the league, according to Inside the Pen. Other sources like FantasyTeamAdvisors.com show their season-long ERA as 3.90.

    1. The Yankees way, keep playing the guy out of position because the Cashman-Boone tag team is smarter than everyone else.

  7. Previous mutts pitcher 17 era last 7 games, this guy 15 era last 8 games. But he handles the Yankees easily. I was looking forward to phenom hitting with 2 men on.

  8. Embarrassing on George’s birthday. He’s looking up right now in absolute disgust. Be a real good way to honor him if they fire Boone after this game though.

  9. So, Weaver again. He’s broken and Boone will keep using him. How can he be healthy and pitch like this?

The Yankees crackhead medical team at work?

  10. And the Yankees go down meekly against two pitchers who haven’t been able to get anyone out recently.

Now 12-18 in one run games. Which is more execrable the bull pen or hitting RISP?

    1. That Cashman and Boone are still here is the more execrable. It stems from an owner who is too lazy to search for a young GM and willingly sticks with a guy long past his use by date.

  11. The Yankees aren’t actually that bad thru the first 5 or 6. However the Yankees can’t hold a lead or comeback when trailing and they don’t hit with RISP and 1 or more reliever always destructs.

    1. Weaver isn’t 100% healthy, that is quite obvious. And who was he anyway prior to his acquisition? A career ERA+ of 89. But Boone will keep running him out there if he’s available.

  12. Katie S Yankees have 14 losses when leading by multiple runs at any point in a game this season.

That’s the 2nd most in MLB, behind only the Diamondbacks (16).

    Luke Weaver This Season

Last 10 Games: 6 HR, 42 batters faced

First 21 Games: 0 HR, 79 batters faced

  13. Boone: Weaver last bit of execution stopping from him from being dominant, the stuff is where it needs to be, just 3 pitches that have hurt him. We’re kind of going thru it, we have the people to go thru it. Volpe lately mixed bag, he going thru it a little bit right now.
