  1. Beeter 1ip 0r 1h 2bb 2k. Winans 5.1 scoreless lowers his era to 0.27, he’s 29 and unless Blake did some black magic it’s hard to think he’d be of any help.

  2. Five hits, two walks and a loud out. Is Stroman worse than this? Can we continue to count on Yarborough? Can we continue to carry four, soon 3, bigly sub replacement players on the roster?

    1. This is what happened to Fried last night, too. They’re the second highest scoring offense in baseball. Sometimes they’re going to kick the ass of some good pitchers.

    1. Fried had a bad game. Warren and Yerry just aren’t very good. Of Boone’s 4 best relievers, he only used 1, briefly.

  3. Remember Will Warren had a 5.91 era in the minors last year, and a 10.32 era in the majors. He’ll be 26 in 2 weeks. Off the numbers he’s much more likely to fail than succeed.

    1. Today, though, no doubt about it, he’s complete dogshit. Just embarrassingly bad. Not even the home run, as whatever, dudes hit home runs, but the back-to-back walks to start the inning were basically him screaming, “I’m scared shitless.”

    2. It’s not this game, it’s all of last year. Six era at Scranton. And there were a few games at Scranton that were like this.

  4. “screaming, “I’m scared shitless.””
Pretty much describes the entire Yankee team right now looking at the Dodgers.
    How disgusting.

  5. im more annoyed now about the way boone managed yesterday. if you can’t win with the ace, then you are looking at possible sweeps. it’s just embarrassing the way he handles the pitching changes.

  6. They really are trying to find a way to make this as bad as yesterday.
And, against all odds, they’re starting to get there.
    Unbelievable.

    1. Hey, they scored a run.
It’s a very good thing they avoided the shut-out, wouldn’t want them to be publicly embarrassed or anything in these games.

    1. We were wrong about the first pitching match-up, why couldn’t we be wrong about this one?

  7. Not exactly earth shattering from Katie S but

Yankees 16-run loss to the Dodgers is the worst loss in franchise history in which they had player hit 2+ HR.
