  1. I’ve heard people praising Rizzo since returning, he’s at 188/507 since coming back. That’s DJ bad . And even worse he has 2 doubles, both I think excuse me pop ups to left. When Rizzo’s good he’s pulling the ball with power and there no sign of that.

As for phenom he’s at a pathetic 231/469, worse than DJ, the last 2 weeks, 167/325 the last week!. What a disappointment he is.

DH, 1B and SS (sometimes LF) black holes.

  2. Leadoff home run and then the same PATHETIC SHIT against a mediocre right handed pitcher. Criswell/Lugo all the same. Not even a LHP. It almost doesn’t matter who starts lately.

  3. This is the best lineup they have to offer. If they can’t score relatively consistently with this lineup, I mean maybe they just have to break it up and start from scratch. I mean, this is nuts.

  4. Rizzo and Volpe is waving the white flag. The good news is Holmes can’t get a blown save. The bad news is Holmes will get the loss.

Never thought I’d miss DJ. Rice can’t hit but at least he can run into one. Rizzo is now a 200 hitter with no power.

  5. This is why you need at least two star hitters; so that when one is in a slump or hurt the other is there. Give Soto whatever he wants. Without him this is not even a playoff team. Even with him they are under 500 the second half of the season.

    1. Back in 2009, I remember they had a crazy streak of three walkoff wins in a row, including two extra inning wins. I’m sure they must have had some since then, though.

    1. The second one, the Yankees gave up FOUR runs in the top of the 13th, then tied it with 4 in the bottom of the 13th, then walked it off on a bases loaded error in the bottom of the 14th.
